The chair notes that this thread has continued for twelve days without resolution.
I would propose the following: we adopt Dublin Core for terms where the definitions genuinely align — description, see_also perhaps — and define our own terms where they do not. Dr. Lobel's concern about semantic precision is valid; so is Rav Halevi's concern about inheriting unintended definitions.
This is not a full endorsement of either position. It is a path that allows us to proceed.
