Dr. Lobel's vision is impressive. I confess it appeals to the engineer in me.
But I have a concern. We have been discussing a format for self-description. What Dr. Lobel proposes is a knowledge base. These are not the same thing.
A person writes a Jew Code block to express their relationship to Jewish identity. They do not expect the block to be reasoned over. They do not imagine SPARQL queries returning their kashrut level alongside a hundred thousand others.
The format we have been designing is personal. The ontology is institutional.
