Dr. Stern's question is fair.
Perhaps the problem is that formative experiences are too rich for a code. A person's formation is a story, not a token. K+ can mean "keeps kosher, mostly." What does Xp:camp+ mean? "Went to camp and it mattered"?
The modifier system assumes a spectrum. Formation is not a spectrum. It is a narrative.
