The chair observes that we have discussed:
1. The symbolic appropriateness of Hebrew 2. The engineering challenges of Unicode 3. The normalization problem 4. The precedent of Jewish texts in multiple scripts
The specification is already written in English. The indicator names are English. Adding Hebrew would create complexity without clear benefit.
Does anyone object to retaining ASCII as the encoding requirement?
