Consider how this works today.
The Orthodox Union certifies products. Satmar does not accept OU certification. The OU does not accept Satmar certification. Neither accepts Reform certification. Reform does not require Orthodox certification.
Each community maintains its own list of trusted authorities. There is no master list that all accept. There has never been such a list.
