Subject: Token naming and cultural bias

I have been reviewing the baseline registry and notice that several tokens use Yiddish terms. SHUL for synagogue, for example.

In my community, we say "beit knesset" or simply "kenisa." My grandfather's generation in Baghdad would not have recognized "shul" as a Jewish word. It would have been foreign, European.

I confess this is a minor point. But if we are building infrastructure meant to serve all Jewish communities, should the tokens themselves not reflect this?
