The chair would note that Devorah has reframed the question.
We have been discussing registry size as if comprehensiveness were the goal. But perhaps the goal is demonstration. A seed registry, not a comprehensive registry.
The DEP Working Group publishes enough tokens to show how the format works. Communities publish tokens for their own needs. The format succeeds when others extend it, not when we anticipate every use case.
