I need to say something about JRS.
Jerusalem is not an abstract example. It is the most contested piece of land on earth. When someone writes @JRS, are they claiming East Jerusalem? West Jerusalem? The municipal boundaries? The "greater Jerusalem" of certain political maps?
In Israel, these are not theoretical questions. People die over them.
We made JRS opaque because we could not agree on what Jerusalem means. Fine. But opacity does not make the disagreement disappear. It hides it.
