The chair observes that this discussion has become heated.
We have two positions:
1. Define core tokens — Provides clarity. But requires choosing definitions that some will reject.
2. Maintain opacity — Avoids taking sides. But benefits insiders and can harm those seeking recognition.
I would like to hear if there is a middle position, or if the committee is genuinely divided.
