I am an implementer. I need to ship code.

If the committee cannot decide, I will implement opacity as written in the current draft. My parser will accept any syntactically valid token and assign no meaning.

But I want it recorded that this is not consensus. It is default. The committee could not agree, so we proceed with what exists.
