The committee should discuss whether to remove the IANA section.
Arguments for removal: 1. We are not an IETF working group. 2. The section creates a false impression. 3. It is not useful to implementers.
Arguments for retention: 1. The format is established. 2. Changing format mid-stream creates inconsistency. 3. The section is harmless.
I would welcome the committee's views.
