Devorah's proposal is sensible. But I wonder if we are abdicating responsibility.
If we say case is significant but do not say what it signifies, we create ambiguity. One community may read k as casual. Another may read it as ironic. A third may not notice the difference at all.
Should the specification not at least suggest the conventional interpretation?
