The chair appreciates Dr. Rosenberg's willingness to reconsider.
To clarify: we are not opposed to documentation. The specifications are public. The protocols are described. Anyone may read how the system is designed to work.
What we are cautious about is infrastructure that makes identity data accessible to parties who have not been invited. The difference between publishing a specification and providing audit access to identity records is the difference between describing a lock and handing over the key.
