Following the phase boundaries discussion, a related question about indicator categories.
The specification organizes indicators into categories: Astral, Faunal, Environmental, Social, Customary. But it does not say whether these categories carry weight. If I have +S3 and -DK — three stars visible but no dogs barking — does the astral indicator take precedence over the faunal?
In my grandfather's community in Baghdad, they trusted what could be seen over what could be heard. Stars over animals. Is this universal?
