Subject: Can certificates be revoked?

Revocation means the certificate is no longer valid. The issuer made a mistake, or circumstances changed, or the subject requested it. We remove the certificate from the valid list.
In my community, if a butcher's certification was revoked, word spread quickly. Everyone knew. The meat was no longer trusted.
