In my community, when someone publishes a list, people read it. They do not first consult an ontology to determine whether "publisher" means the same thing in this list as in other lists.
I confess the vision is appealing. A web of linked data, automatic reasoning across documents. But we are writing a registry of context tokens. Who will query our vocabulary with SPARQL? Who will traverse from our publisher field to Dublin Core?
Devorah needs a file that works. She has written one.
