I have been looking at the baseline registry and find myself curious about its scope.

We have fourteen tokens. The specification allows communities to publish their own registries, which I think is wise. But I wonder about the reasoning behind keeping the baseline small. In my community, when someone publishes a directory with fourteen entries, we usually ask: is there more coming?

I am not arguing we should expand. I am asking: what is the thinking here?
