Subject: Digital verification of kashrut certification

The religious questions are above my pay grade. I need technical answers.
My system receives an image. Sometimes a code. It needs to confirm: did this agency actually issue this certificate? Is the certificate still valid? What does it cover?
Right now I call a phone number and a person answers. That person looks something up and tells me yes or no. I need a way to do that lookup without the phone call.
