Subject: Character encoding
A small question before we finalize the syntax section.
The specification requires ASCII encoding. All phase letters, all indicator codes, all modifiers — Latin characters only.
We are encoding Jewish observational time. Should we not permit Hebrew characters?
The phase names could be written in Hebrew: א for Alef (dawn), ב for Boker, and so forth. The indicator categories — ASTRAL, FAUNAL — could have Hebrew equivalents.
This seems more appropriate for a Jewish specification.
