Devorah's request is narrower than what we have been discussing.
She asks for a function from our calendar to Gregorian. This is unambiguous for modern dates. It does not require taking a position on the Julian calendar or historical disputes.
But I note that even this limited function requires specifying which Gregorian rules to use. Leap year calculation in the Gregorian system differs from our calculation. We would need to define or reference those rules.
This may be more tractable than the full correspondence problem. I would welcome a proposal.
