I see where R. Nachmani is going. Gender as practice, not essence. This is clever.
But it still assumes there is a mechitza to navigate. For most Israeli Jews, there is none. We go to the beach, not to shul.
What is my M modifier? I do not sit anywhere. I do not daven in divided spaces. The question is foreign to me.
